About this cause
The Friends of Higham Ferrers Nursery and Infant school are volunteers that run events throughout the academic year to raise much need additional funds for the school. The funds are used to provide learning resources to support the children at the school. The school is presently replacing and updating books/learning resources and expanding their outdoor learning facilities, which benefit all children at the school from Nursery to year 2.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Higham Ferrers is a small market town and many of the local children attend the school. With financial budgets being restricted any additional funds raised help the school to update their learning resources and allow all the children in the school to have access these.
