About this cause
We provide support to vulnerable women of all ages who feel isolated and lost, and struggle with their mental health and life setbacks. To achieve this, we run annual weekly sessions to help them reset many areas of their lives by getting back to basics. We provide hope, rebuild confidence and help them to feel they have a purpose so they can connect with the community and start again. We aim to partner with local community groups to reach more vulnerable women. We provide a group where everyone feels valued, loved and heard. Part of our service is follow-up contact to maintain a relationship with women who are interested and would like to come but are not yet confident enough. We slowly build trust and hope.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our sessions aim to support students and women who have lost confidence and struggle with their mental health and wellbeing. We aim for every woman to believe they have a purpose in life, and become more equipped, empowered and confident so they can connect back with community with hope for their future. Our sessions provide a safe space where trust is built and they feel connected and validated. We help them get back to basics in many areas of their lives. We provide a safe space where they can share their challenges, identify with others and support one another. We provide a year of sessions to enable women to feel they can always attend. We discuss subjects such as negative thought patterns, worry, stress, healthy eating and being content, followed by a purposeful activity.
