Community Members: organising events and activities that foster social connections, reducing feelings of isolation and promoting mental wellbeing.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Changing our floodlights from hydrogen bulbs to LEDs will make a significant difference in our community in several ways: Environmental: LEDs consume less energy and have a longer lifespan compared to hydrogen bulbs, which reduces our carbon footprint and helps combat climate change. This sets a positive example for environmental responsibility within the community. Cost: The reduced energy consumption of LED lights translates to lower electricity bills. The savings can be redirected to other community projects, enhancing our club’s ability to invest in local programmes. Improved Lighting: LEDs provide better lighting with more illumination and less glare, improving visibility for players and spectators during evening events. This enhances the experience at our club's facilities.
