About this cause
Penny's Community Arts helps people in the community to experience their own creativity through organised activities. The activities help people learn new skills, develop confidence, and they provide opportunities to explore different ways of thinking in a unique and fun way. All of this supports wellbeing and self-development. It also encourages people to support one another through artistic collaboration and cooperation. Art is an excellent tool to raise awareness of many social issues, such as the environment, and my role as a community artist is to support my community through shared understanding. Through art and conversations, we explore the many issues that we all face within society. Everyone is an artist; we all just need an opportunity to be one.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Community Art Club will be a space where individuals and families come together and develop their own creative expression. Everyone will be encouraged to try new artistic techniques, experiment with different materials and learn new skills. This club will be open for the entire community, so people can support one another through shared ideas and collaboration. This experience will increase artistic understanding and creative confidence. It will also support wellbeing and self-development through regular artistic activity. This initiative will help people engage in wholesome artistic activity that promotes a sense of individual growth. This will be a fun, engaging space where people can connect through art, learn from one another and feel the benefit of personal expression through art.
