About this cause
East Cheshire NHS Charity raises money for Macclesfield District General Hospital, Knutsford Community Hospital, Congleton War Memorial Hospital and all our community services. We work hand in hand with our incredible healthcare services to help them go above and beyond for patients, families and staff. We believe that everyone deserves access to the best possible healthcare, and our mission is to support our incredible local NHS to help them deliver it. We go beyond standard government funding and firmly believe that, by working together, we can make our local NHS that extra special. Whether you are a donor, a volunteer or a corporate partner, your involvement and support are crucial in transforming the everyday for our local healthcare services.

How this cause brings people in the community together
We are raising money to help offer extra support to patients who are on end-of-life care and their loved ones. The time following the death of a loved one can be incredibly hard for their families and friends. Therefore, it is essential that they are supported through this difficult time. Care and memory packs will allow the charity to create a person-centred care approach, emphasizing personhood after death, which will support the mental wellbeing of relatives and friends. The memory packs will also allow family members and friends to keep these treasured memories to support them through this difficult time. The charity would like to offer this comfort to as many relatives and friends as possible.
