How this cause brings people in the community together
This funding would allow us to provide a weekly group in Stonehaven on a Tuesday for people to Meet & Eat with each other, cook together, welcome new members, participate in structured gentle exercise, hear about local events, contribute to planning our service and to build a network of friends and contacts. We would like to host a number of open door events in Stonehaven for the people in the area to come along and try out and learn ways to enhance positive mental health and wellbeing. These events would be organised and hosted by our qualified and experienced staff and would offer taster activities such as healthy eating information, mood food cooking demonstrations, therapeutic activities, CBT resources, physical exercise activities and stands for other support organisations.
