People: Helping older people feel connected
We need to replace the garden furniture for our pensioner groups and other users of the community centre so that we can run events and activities in our outdoor spaces and patios.

About this cause
The charity provides recreational facilities, education and a community centre for the inhabitants of Barnhill and the surrounding areas. We provide affordable space for local community groups and residents. We encourage residents to get involved with community activities such as social gatherings and participation in community events.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We are a vibrant community centre run by volunteers, providing a range of community activities for residents. We have been struggling to maximise the outdoor space of our community centre due to the condition of the garden furniture. We would like to encourage our pensioner groups and others to use the patio space once we have new garden furniture. Our regular pensioner groups would like to run activities outdoors during the summer months in 2025.
