How this cause brings people in the community together

In 2022, we launched "Forget Me Nots" weekly sessions designed for those living with mild dementia. Designed for those in the early stages of dementia the group provides a day of meaningful, stimulating activities, proven to help maintain memory & mental functioning, including the delivery of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy. This fun group work together with qualified, experienced care workers & enjoy a nutritious, home-cooked lunch. Funding will support the offering of more, varied activities in which to enjoy, such as; baking, exercise, virtual aquarium tours & more. We want to support & include their often forgotten about carers, by inviting them to join in once a month, providing an opportunity for them to build relationships with other carers of people with dementia.
