About this cause
Divine Days continues to tackle inequalities in health experienced by some of the most vulnerable people in our community of Skelmersdale and West Lancashire. We focus on those who have disabilities, complex needs, learning disabilities and/or neurodiversity. We help people find their voice, develop confidence, connections and friendships and support them in meaningful activities. We have done this by establishing a supportive community who share our aim and objective of fulfilling each person's potential.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Creative Kids enables children with special educational needs, long-term health conditions and/or neurodiversity engage in activities tailored for them individually and enables them to build relationships in a safe and inclusive space. The parents can utilise the café in the premises and make connections with other parents in their own space, which supports their wellbeing and offers respite for the hours of the session.
