Border Links Ltd
People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We wish to create & maintain an accessible garden space. This will give members & their friends & families a wheelchair-friendly space where they can plant and maintain flowers, fruit and vegetables.

About this cause
We wish to provide quality training and daycare to adults with learning disabilities. We work "with" and "for" local people in their own communities. Our aim is to enable people with a learning disability to "play a part" and get the most out of daily life in their community. To help us do this, we develop Border Links courses and community projects.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will enable people with disabilities to get outside, learn new skills, and grow fresh fruit and vegetables, which they will then learn to cook or include in recipes. Their friends, carers and families can also take part in the project and the seating will allow wheelchair users at Southfield to participate fully and enjoy the outdoor space fully.
