St Helens Bees Netball
People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We would like to increase opportunities for young people to enjoy netball and promote positivity in the community, good health and wellbeing.

About this cause
Our club’s ethos is to instil respect, promote enjoyment, ensure inclusion and, importantly, provide positive experiences to our young people through netball. At the very heart of our club is our aim to provide as many life-enhancing opportunities as we can for our young people, broadening their horizons, raising their aspirations and ambitions, improving self-confidence and self-esteem, and ensuring they enjoy taking part in a team sport. Our training sessions provide opportunities for our players, coaches and supporters to build team spirit, increase confidence and morale.
How this cause brings people in the community together
St Helens Bees Netball Club will continue to support young girls in the local area in developing their netball, teamwork and social skills whilst promoting the importance of health and wellbeing and belonging to a community. As a unique, local organisation we are providing the only outlet for young girls to play netball before secondary school. SHBN will continue to offer learning and guidance to the players through inclusion, equality, pride, friendship, fitness and community spirit. We provide coaching to improve the girls' knowledge and understanding of netball.
