About this cause
Bridge Junior Football Club is a grassroots organisation. We have been running for 30 years and started off as one team. As a junior football club we provide football activities to over 300 boys and girls from age 4 to 17. We also have a disability squad which is for young people aged 14+. We don’t discriminate on ability. Everyone is welcome at Bridge.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will continue to provide a safe space for young people and young adults to engage in sport to improve their physical and mental health. This will help them develop life skills not just related to football but around teamwork, leadership and confidence. By targeting support to those groups who are marginalised from football we are able to support a wide range of people.
