About this cause
We are a local fundraising group set up to raise money supporting people in the community with dementia. We aim to raise in the region of £10,000 per annum which is then donated to the Alzheimer's Society.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Dementia advisers support, on average, 35 service users plus approximately 40 new referrals every month. They run carers' information programmes and the 'Live Well with Dementia' programme which supports those living with dementia and their carers.
