People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We aim to create and maintain a group allotment. This will allow members to learn how to grow food, work safely and maintain an outdoor space. All food grown will be used to create nourishing meals.

About this cause
We aim to provide quality training and day care to adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. We work with and for local people in their own communities. Our aim is to enable people with a learning disability to play a part and get the most out of daily life in their community. To help us do this we develop Border Links courses and community projects.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will allow people with learning disabilities, their families and friends to spend time together learning new skills and understanding where their food comes from. It will allow them to grow and cultivate their own fresh vegetables and fruit. This improves mental wellbeing, healthy eating and lifestyles.
