We provide emergency parcels of food, toiletry, cleaning and laundry products for households in Shipston and the surrounding villages.

About this cause
Rising energy and food costs have seen an increasing number of households finding it difficult to afford food and other basic items. Shipston Food Bank is a community venture, supporting households from Shipston On Stour and surrounding villages with emergency parcels of food, cleaning, laundry and toiletry items. We operate from St. Edmund's Church between 10:30am and 12:00pm each Saturday, and those in need do not require a voucher or referral.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Rising prices and the cost of living crisis has resulted in a decline in donations of food and other items from members of the public. As such, we are having to spend ever-increasing amounts each week topping up our supplies; over £9,200 in the past year. These food, toiletries and other items offer a lifeline for some of the people that we support during this difficult time of food and fuel poverty.
