We would like to provide food for our Take and Make project, which gives each family a takeaway bag with enough fresh ingredients to make a meal for a family of four.
About this cause
We support lone parent families in Barnet by providing services that reduce poverty, reduce social isolation and improve mental health. We provide a number of services, including benefits and welfare support, Finchley Community Toy Library, a food and toiletries bank, Pilates, training courses and volunteering.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We can't solve the cost-of-living crisis but we can do everything in our power to put food on families' tables. Having enough to make a hot meal for all the family means there's one less thing to worry about. We would like to ensure that all local families with young children can be happy and healthy.
