About the Project
Interactive Nature Watch will create a vibrant wildlife habitat and engage adults with learning difficulties and disabilities in watching, recording and learning how to protect it using the latest technology. In the MK Snap garden we will erect boxes to attract birds, bats, bugs, butterflies, bees and hedgehogs. Webcams - linked to some boxes and Go Pros will enable learners to watch and study the life cycles of birds and wildlife. A camera and iPads will enable our learners to develop their IT and media skills, develop their skills of observation, numeracy and literacy as they record of data. As the skills, confidence and self-esteem of our learners grow they may discover new interests and talents and enjoy greater choices and opportunities in the community.
