Epsom and Ewell PHAB
People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
We run weekly club evenings at NESCOT, rent appropriate space and provide facilities for members to try a wide variety of activities in an inclusive environment.

About this cause
Epsom and Ewell PHAB is a group that promotes inclusion for young people aged 8-18 years. We hold weekly club evenings during which our members can take part in a wide variety of activities including sports, arts and craft, and drama. We also run several outings each year, the largest of which is our Easter adventure activities holiday. Additionally, we also put on shows at the local theatre. All our activities are designed to allow everyone, whatever their abilities or perceived disabilities, to take part. We foster a supportive environment so that everyone, from whatever background, feels safe to take on new challenges. We are run entirely by volunteers and receive no regular income, being entirely reliant on contributions, donations and one-off grants.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will continue to support young people who face significant challenges in their lives by providing a safe and inclusive environment for them to grow in confidence. Here, they will tackle a wide variety of challenges and we provide them the opportunity to make friends irrespective of their background or any disability that they might have. We will do this by running weekly club nights during which our members will have the opportunity to try a range of different sports, arts and crafts activities, as well as drama and dance. Our club is run entirely by volunteers, many of whom have significant experience helping young people.
