People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We plan to rejuvenate the school's central courtyard using pupils' designs, creating a quiet, inspiring environment for improved wellbeing of everyone in our school community and to benefit wildlife.
About this cause
The PTFA of St Bede's aim is to support the school by raising money to enhance and enrich the students' experience, and to foster a strong school community. A full calendar of events are scheduled throughout the year for school families and the local community to enjoy with funds returned to support projects at school.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Our central courtyard is highly visible from the corridors in the main school building and serves as a quiet space for members of our community. In fine weather, support meetings with students and their families take place within this informal and relaxed setting. The design, construction and on-going maintenance of this area will be undertaken by students from St Bede’s Inter-Church School through our very popular Gardening Club, serving to enhance the students’ mental and physical wellbeing.
