We deliver food packs on referral to those in our community who struggle financially. Each pack contains three days' worth of food with considerations for dietary requirements.
About this cause
We're a group who aim to to give what we can to those in our area who are in need, especially in poverty. We provide packs to people who are referred to us by statutory bodies, social workers, housing associations, Citizens Advice, debt and benefit advice agencies, schools, and churches. We provide food packs, toiletries, cleaning packs, bedding, towels, small electrical items, new baby packs and more.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By providing food, including fresh fruit and vegetables, we are helping those in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. We do this on referral from statutory agencies, as we try to ensure that our clients are getting the additional support they need to get their financial situation under control.
