Access to food
We are a local charity in Glasgow in need of three community fridges and freezers to distribute fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat at an affordable price.
About this cause
Our mission is to reduce poverty, hunger, loneliness, and many other challenges that our community face. We support our community with our foodbank where we are now serving beyond the catchment area of G53, G52 and G51. We also run a daily pantry, language classes, and lunch clubs for children. We hope to resume our movie night, games club, and coffee morning after COVID-19.

How this cause brings people in the community together
We have helped locals from different backgrounds, circumstances, and ages, directly through the our pantry. It is such an affordable way to shop and access a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, and everything in between. We help to ensure those who need that little bit of support can come to us, preventing them from suffering from food poverty.
