We would like to replace our cricket nets, which are currently used for training by our junior, senior and women's teams. They are worn and in a poor state of repair, making them unfit for purpose.
About this cause
We aim to provide sporting opportunities for juniors, seniors and women's cricket teams in our community. We provide weekly training sessions for our junior members, who range from age six to 18 years, providing them with the chance to learn a new sport, find the value in being part of a team, learn how to show good sportsmanship and to have fun with new friends.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Eastergate Cricket Club not only provides sporting activities for young people in our villages throughout the cricket season, it also provides social opportunities throughout the year. Our junior teams meet weekly in the summer to train and play matches. In the winter they meet weekly to socialise at the clubhouse. The same opportunities exist for our men's and women's teams.
