We'd like to acquire a new electric minibus to replace our older diesel bus. Switching to an electric vehicle will combine the benefits of community transportation with those of electric power.
About this cause
We provide a number of door-to-door transport services that are wheelchair accessible, supportive and affordable in and around Waverley Borough. Our transport services are for anyone unable to access ordinary transport for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to elderly, disabled, rurally isolated, children with special education needs and other vulnerable people.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Community transport helps people achieve better health, economic, and social outcomes by supporting their independent mobility. At Hoppa, we look forward to a future where almost all vehicles on the road will be low or ultra-low emission; ours too. Community transport that uses electric vehicles will help to reduce congestion on the roads, improving road safety and air quality for everyone.
