People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
We'd like to improve our playing surface and the drainage of our football pitches in order to continue providing grassroots football to children of all ages in our local community.
About this cause
We provide a platform for children from across the local community to participate and develop their skills within a grassroots football environment. Weekly sport for our youngsters is of course a great tonic for their mental wellbeing; they are able to develop their skills, build friendships, and make their parents proud of their achievements.
How this cause brings people in the community together
With improved pitches, we can ensure training and matches go-ahead at our home venues. All too often during the season, pitches get waterlogged and consequently football is postponed. Having the opportunity to play team sport for many youngsters is a real boost to their physical and mental wellbeing.
