Mental wellbeing
Aberdeen RDA will be moving to a new venue, this we wish to buy a new pony and further equipment for the new venue to enhance our offering of therapeutic riding sessions for participants.
About this cause
We want to help improve the physical and mental wellbeing of disabled people through our free, therapeutic riding sessions. With more ponies and better equipment, we can offer our sessions to a wider range and greater number of disabled people. We are about to move venue, which will inevitably incur costs.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our therapeutic riding sessions help the physical and mental wellbeing of children from across Aberdeen and wider Aberdeenshire. We can only run the sessions with the help of volunteers, within which have more than 30 ranging from 18 to 80 years of age. Coming together for RDA sessions has helped the physical and mental health of our volunteers, as well as participants.
