Mental wellbeing
We would like to fund the refurbishment of the early years playground area, which includes installing a dedicated mud kitchen and sensory area, and replacing the all-weather canopy.
About this cause
We aim to support, advance and enhance the education, happiness and wellbeing of all members of our school community. We aim to bring school staff, children, their families and the local community together through events, enriching activities and providing much-needed resources.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Outdoor play is proven to be critical for children’s mental health and wellbeing. Many children don’t have access to safe outdoor spaces, hence we want to develop a Forest School-inspired outdoor learning environment for our youngest children. This will be a space they can safely play, explore, learn and express themselves, which will provide huge benefits to the children and their families.
