Easi-RockIts VX
People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
Easi-RockIts VX is the oldest VX club in existence, and our equipment is showing its age. We have a growing juniors section and would benefit from new VstiX and bibs.
About this cause
Our goal is to replace our equipment, which has served us well but it is 17 years old. VX is a gender-neutral, highly inclusive sport. We provide sporting opportunities for children who don't enjoy those opportunities in mainstream school. We cater for all ages and abilities; our current age range is six to 73 years old.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The children who attend our sessions learn four important values; honesty, integrity, sportsmanship and respect. They learn how to work as part of a team, which is an important life skill. We encourage our teen players to complete a Level 2 training course, which then contributes to their Duke of Edinburgh Award. New equipment would enable all players to get the best out of every session.
