Mental wellbeing
We seek to develop our volunteers at Tiverton Swimming Club and train more volunteer swim teachers and coaches to develop our swimmers in the pool. We also need to fix a poolside race scoreboard.
About this cause
We're a group who provide fitness and friendship through swimming for swimmers in our local community whilst having fun along the way. We are a community amateur sports club affiliated to Swim England and run swim teaching and coached training sessions at our local pool seven days a week. The club is run by a group of volunteers, teachers, coaches and officials and offers a Swim Team experience.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We are a community amateur sports club run by local volunteers with a range of different skills, who enable our members to develop their swimming and race competitively for Tiverton Swimming Club. We bring people together from learn-to-swim to adult masters, and create a Team Tiverton environment for families to enjoy the opportunities for fitness, fun and friendship a local sports club can offer.
