People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
To meet the ever-rising energy costs, we are undertaking an energy saving review and have launched a campaign fund to support capital improvements to make our building more energy-efficient.
About this cause
We're a group that focuses on educating all ages in the lifelong skills of swimming and water safety, in a safe and inclusive community environment. We provide opportunities for children and adults in the surrounding communities to swim and stay active, whilst also promoting the importance of water safety in both indoor and outdoor environments.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Like most people, our small community swimming pool has been hit hard by the drastic increase in energy cost. The grant money will help us work towards improving our project to become more sustainable and energy-efficient, so that we can continue to provide swimming opportunities for everyone, specifically young children and teenagers, in our surrounding communities.
