RASASC (Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre )
People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We aim to provide outreach into the community, to raise awareness of rape and sexual abuse so that survivors and those who might be suffering in silence can seek help.

About this cause
We're a group that aims to help survivors of rape and sexual abuse to cope and recover from the abuse they have suffered and move forward. We support all survivors aged 13 and above from across Surrey, and will support survivors whether or not they wish to pursue justice through the criminal justice system. We operate a free service and believe those who come to us for support.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Rape and sexual abuse affects all sectors of our society. Shying away and thinking it doesn't happen doesn't help those who are suffering alone. There is still a stigma and people are still frightened to report abuse. Therefore this work will aim to break down the barriers to support and provide a visible presence so that those who need us can find us.
