We are aiming to fund an outside forest school teaching area, for our pupils to learn in a safe, wild area. This would increase their confidence, improve wellbeing and help them connect with nature.
About this cause
We're a group that supports Ysgol Pentrecelyn school by raising funds to purchase additional resources for our pupils and community. As a small rural school we are very proud of our fantastic location within the Vale of Clwyd, and we are aiming to help fund an outside forest school teaching area to allow pupils to learn in a safe, wild area.

How this cause brings people in the community together
This outside teaching area will enhance the pupils experiences while at school, allow them to connect with nature, improve mental wellbeing and increase their confidence – both as a group and individually. Group activities have been particularly important since the pandemic, as many pupils have felt isolated living in a rural area and unable to mix with their friends.
