About this cause
We're a group who wants to contribute to the rich musical heritage of Campbeltown by providing high-quality tuition for local children and adults. Formed in 1983, we have had many contest successes at both senior and junior level. But we are more than just a competing band; we are a band for the community. The band has performed and entertained the local community for decades.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Learning to play a musical instrument teaches valuable skills which apply to many situations throughout life, including further education and work. Participation in competitions give the children a sense of achievement and also promotes the good work we are doing further afield, while putting Campbeltown and the surrounding area on the map.
