Young people
We would like to provide tutors and equipment for our Take Flight project for 13- to 21-year-olds. We teach aerial theatre skills, enabling young people to be creative and improve their wellbeing.
About this cause
Take Flight, provided by Scarabeus Aerial Theatre, is an inclusive skills-building programme that explores the world of circus and aerial performance. The project includes creative work, choreography and performance. It has been a crucial support service for many of our young people. We give young people a safe and welcoming environment where they can be creative, build confidence, feel less isolated, and improve their physical and mental health.

How this cause brings people in the community together
By giving young people a safe and welcoming environment, they're able to be creative, build their confidence, make new friends and improve their physical and mental health – all while learning new skills. We work with young people who have a range of complex mental health needs, and who may be at risk of social exclusion.
