People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
We want to fund a Young Persons Involvement Worker to ensure the voices of young patients in Bristol Children's Hospital are heard.
About this cause
As the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, we support babies and children when they need it most. We aim to be there for every child from the very moment they arrive in hospital. Our support workers offer advice; our family accommodation gives parents a place to stay; our specialist staff provide arts, music and play programme; and the pioneering equipment that we fund helps save lives.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By funding a Young Persons Involvement Worker in Bristol Children’s Hospital we can make sure the voices of young patients are heard in the hospital. When we begin a new project in the hospital it is important to include the people who know it best: the patients. This role supports passionate young people who want to effect change in the hospital where they have been treated.
