About this cause
Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. We look to teach skills for life to all our members, and we do this in the most fun and active way possible.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We are the largest youth organisation in the world. Scouting is seen as a pillar in the local community; we engage with other community groups who use our Scout Hut as a meeting place, and we work closely with the Parish Council on local community projects.
