People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
We would like to provide cadets with sporting and adventure training opportunities and equipment on Orkney, and also further afield.
About this cause
We aim to support opportunities for teenagers to grow and develop within the Army Cadet Force and support the wider community. We do this within a military-based environment. Our aim is that our cadets will grow and develop through opportunities and activities they might not have access to otherwise, be this within a military-based environment, sports, or adventure training.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We aim to develop within our youngsters a sense of confidence, self reliance, team spirit, personal discipline, and community spirit. We provide opportunities and experiences to develop within, many that they might not have achieved or experienced otherwise.
