About this cause
We want to set up a Community Fridge that is accessible to all residents. We aim to tackle food waste and food poverty, and over time we would like to incorporate cooking classes for the community. The fridge will benefit everyone in our community and will be located centrally.

How this cause brings people in the community together
The Community Fridge will tackle food waste in our community, providing it free of charge to anyone who needs it and wants to prevent good food ending up in landfill. It will provide a meeting point for people, volunteering opportunities within the community, and will lead to community cooking projects. It will also help those struggling to pay their bills due to increased energy costs.
