People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We would like to buy a portable PA system so that more people can participate in and enjoy Chorlton Arts Festival, and some equipment to contribute to the restoration of the Chorlton Community Garden.
About this cause
We're a group that enthusiastically tries to enhance and promote a vibrant and active community through a range of local events, activities and projects. Specifically, we act as a forum and voice of the residents and stakeholders in the area; convene an alliance of local groups; and work to secure the preservation and improvement of features of historic or public interest in the area.

How this cause brings people in the community together
The projects will enhance the local area for those living or working in or visiting Chorlton, and provide opportunities for preserving and improving mental wellbeing. They will do this by continuing to support access to the arts for all, irrespective of ability, and by maintaining the beauty and tranquility of an urban green space, which will offer information on growing for food and pollinators.
