Biodiversity and climate change
More than 200 volunteers planted 4,000 trees and we will plant 1,300 more next winter. These young woods need care so they grow well to soak up carbon, support wildlife and bring joy to people.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will ensure newly planted trees survive so that they grow into healthy woodlands that sequester carbon from the atmosphere, support nature, and bring people joy through volunteering activity. We aim to provide opportunities for the local community to help tackle global problems such as climate change and biodiversity loss.
