People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
After the recent closure of the wrapround care at the Community Centre, the school is setting up its own breakfast and after school club. Any funding received would be used to help resource it.
About this cause
We want to support our local school to provide great education and opportunities to the children who go there. We are a group of parents and staff who work together to fundraise for the school and donate our time to support the different initiatives that the school is involved in.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will help provide additional care for the families of children who attend the school. It will support working parents to return to work and ensure that the children get the best level of care possible at the beginning and end of the school day. Children will also have the chance to learn about healthy lifestyles, as they socialise with other children from the wider school community.
