We would like to buy sensory toys and equipment to support children with learning disabilities including children with multiple and profound learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
About this cause
KCA provides services for children with learning disabilities aged 5 to 25, including those with physical disabilities, autism and complex communication needs. We provide engaging, inclusive, and innovative play opportunities which enable children with learning disabilities to have fun, learn, develop and achieve their full potential.
How this cause brings people in the community together
At KCA we support children who are isolated and vulnerable due to their high support needs. Sensory toys and equipment help with development and understanding of the world. Having a calm sensory environment can help with mental health, anxieties and challenging behaviour. We want the children who attend KCA to have fun and have the same opportunities as other young people their age.
