Kids Inspire
People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We wish to offer early help to children, young people aged 13–18 and families displaying emotional and behavioural issues, by promoting coping strategies, resilience and wellbeing.
About this cause
Founded in 2007, Kids Inspire strive to fill gaps in local services, providing therapeutic support to children and young people aged 5–25 affected by emotional/behavioural or mental health difficulties, often resulting from psychological trauma. We provide bespoke intervention(s) that best meet the child’s needs, often inclusive of parental/family therapy to ensure a long-term sustainable outcome.
How this cause brings people in the community together
CREW provides early therapeutic help to whole families who cannot access support during the week. Families develop coping and communication skills to build resilience, strengthening relationships to prevent issues escalating, and achieve a long-term outcome. Referrals are around children and young people displaying issues including anxiety, aggressive outbursts, withdrawal or depression.
