People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We would like to provide cycling, cooking and communication sessions for our members, helping them to tackle social isolation, anxiety and depression.

About this cause
We're a group who want to support people with brain injuries, as well as their carers, in and around Salford, Trafford & North Manchester. We provide social activities, support, and a break from social isolation. We also support carers, bringing people together, supporting them with rehabilitation, social activities and introductions to a peer group experiencing the same issues.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will support people to reduce their social isolation and loneliness. We will improve communication skills and fine motor skills for our members, but also provide much needs support sessions and respite sessions for their carers. Our project will improve mental wellbeing and enable the reconnecting of a group of people who have been isolated.
