We provide music and entertainment to patients and staff at Torbay Hospital. Hospital radio helps to improve patient wellbeing, distracting them from pain and loneliness with their favourite songs, chat, quizzes and news.
How this cause brings people in the community together
A report by the Hospital Broadcasting Association found that hospital radio helps stop patients feeling lonely, which in turn helps their wellbeing and recovery. Additional radios will enable patients and staff in the hospital to listen to our service if they don’t have access to a mobile device.
