About this cause
We're a group who wants to help people to be happier and healthier through connection with good food, the natural world and one another. We provide gardening, cooking and natural crafts workshops and volunteering sessions for the community, as well as putting on free community meals and selling subsidised organic veg boxes. We are open to anybody who wants to get involved.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The multi-sensory experience of visiting our garden sparks connections with food, nature and the physical and therapeutic benefits of gardening. Free meals will bring people together over good food, and gardening and cooking workshops will enable people to build confidence in these areas, build social relationships, and enhance their health and wellbeing in the process.
