We want to buy people new tents, sleeping bags, hats, gloves and toiletries. Eventually we want to have our own accommodation to help.
About this cause
We help vulnerable and homeless people across the north east of England with hats, gloves, sleeping bags, tents and food. We have helped get 12 homeless people off the streets and into accommodation in the last few months. We signpost people to professional help with addictions and mental health groups. We plan to help more people over the next few months but are desperate for much needed funds to buy supplies.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Although NEH helps and supports vulnerable people in emergency situations, NEH wants to have shared staffed accommodation blocks to home people in emergency situations so nobody has to sleep on the streets.
