We aim to raise support for mentored community eco-educational woodland border planting for trees, shrubs, bulbs and wildflowers, that will improve skills and wellness.
About this cause
We will reinvigorate a historic woodland entrance to Maghull, with a welcoming, accessible, safe, iconic and engaging community wildlife friendly space.
How this cause brings people in the community together
A huge community survey has provided a mandate and over 30 volunteers. Three schools, a nursery, Scout groups and elderly groups have already been engaged. The local NHS has provided support to refer people through social prescribing. The mentored design, planting and ongoing maintenance and education will continue the wealth of community positivity.
