We would like to provide professional tutors to link older and younger people into garden projects to learn about self sufficiency, fruit and vegetable growing and healthy cooking and eating examples.

About this cause
We're a group who want to meet the many needs of our community by providing an open, accessible, and friendly community centre with lots going on.

How this cause brings people in the community together
The sessions would run over the growing season and include freezing some items to expand the project over a longer period. By doing this we hope to get more people involved across a variety of ages. Volunteers would host and participate in the activities with the tutors. Knowledge acquired and shared would help with community wellbeing and alleviate loneliness.
