We would like to install a Digital Screen in our Lesser Hall, which will allow us to host community events, and meetings.
About this cause
The Albert Hall is a Grade 2 listed Victorian Theatre. The theatre is a community space, bought for the town in 1961 and is managed by a small team of volunteers. We provide a community space for the local people to come and watch shows and put on their own events. We maintain and restore the building, ensuring that it remains open and useable.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By installing this equipment, we will be able to host more community events, which would bring the community together, improving people’s mental health and wellbeing. We would also be able to support other local groups, by providing a usable space for them to run their own meetings and events, bringing members of the community together.
