People: Supporting young people to fulfil their potential
We would like to improve the school grounds and opportunities for outdoor learning and play. Children have been hit hard during lockdowns, and we aim to give them the space to just be kids.
About this cause
We're a group who wants to support our school and the community by raising funds to provide additional learning and play resources for the children.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The planning of exactly what we need will involve the children and their families - so decisions are taken democratically. We will involve local businesses and partners who can support us. We shop local where we can (e.g. for our Year 6 leavers' hoodies). Being outdoors in a great environment in the school grounds will help pupils and staffs' wellbeing and mental health. People will feel pride.
